Momma and Jack's Big Day Out!

Last Saturday, Jack and I had our day out together. We needed to go shoe shopping and I thought that would be a good job for Jack and I to do on our own since his feet are a little bigger than Quent's, so whatever we got to fit Jack would certainly fit Quent too.

We started by taking back some shoes I had bought without the boys with me that were WAY too big. (just goes to show you that it is better to have them there to try on.) We ended up at Payless and got GREAT deals! And with the way their feet are growing, we need all the help we can get! Jack picked out some awesome Lightning Mc Queen shoes for them both and they were a hit!! They light up and everything.

After shoe shopping, we had some lunch in the mall. Pasta, breadsticks and a smoothie, YUM.

I am not sure he has ever had a smoothie, but he sure liked the strawberry banana one that we picked.

Jack desperately wanted to ride on these toys that they had in their food court area. So, after we ate I let him try them out.

This is the expression the made the entire time. Not really too fond of it, but he did not want to get out either.

After the first car, he wanted to try this one, thsi race car moved around more and ge did not like that at all! I was able to snap a picture of him in it, then he asked to be done.

Now, the water fountain - He LOVED!

We threw pennies in and made wishes and just sat and drank our drinks by the water fountain. He was really fascinated by it and had fun talking all about it.
Then we shopped some more and got some shirts for Easter and a few other things befpre it was time to head home for a rest.
