Guitar Dancin'

Okay, so this is like my 3rd post today, but...

FINALLY - I figured a way to get a longer video uploaded and able to be shared. Now I just need to play with the editing stuff so I can edit it down so you don't have to watch a really long video, just the really cute parts! I am just so proud of myself for finally getting it up here, it seems like I have been trying forever.

Anyway, this video is of the boys dancing with their guitars, mostly Jack dancing with some singing from Quent. I just love watching Jack dance, he really gets into it and dances A LOT! There are very few times in our house when there is not music on and it is usually requested by Jack.

So, here they are - my dancin' machines! (sorry it's so dark)

Baby Picture Sundays

Debi at Who says 8 is enough? is hosting Baby Picture Sundays and this weeks theme is Wrapped in Holiday Cheer!

Here's my little guys all wrapped up!

The Best Gift any Momma could open!

This was Christmas 2006 - Jack and Quent's first Christmas - they were about 6 months old and we took this picture to use for our cards that year. It turned out so cute and we got so many nice compliments (but then again who could resist those sweet little faces!) It is still one of my absolute favorite pictures of those 2 little chubby faces!

Happy Birthday to our Moms!

To My Mom,
Hope you have a great Birthday, Mom!

We Love you so much!!

To Tom's Mom,

Two for Twos-day

My Very Goofy Little Boys!

These boys sure do have very active imaginations and even though I cannot always catch them in the photo together (here they are on either side of the me at the desk in our den) they are always pretty hilarious men!

Quent is using a sand bucket as a firefighter's hat!

Jack is trying to make Mr.Potato Head's glasses fit!

Needless to say, pretend play stuff is on our list for Santa this year.

Head on over to Eight is Great to see lots of other Two for Twos-day fun photos!

Facial Bliss

Oh Yes.
Even though this is not a picture of me, this is what I did today.
I had the best, most relaxing facial. I never thought i would enjoy it just this much.
I could have slept right there on the table, the hour went by way too fast.
It was heaven!
I am going to take my relaxed and refreshed face to bed now.
Thank you so much Len and Kyle for my gift certificate!

Way Back When-esday

Jack and Quent 2 years ago...
Ahhhhh...
I remember the days when I would put them down on a blanket to play and I could make a quick trip to the potty and they would be in the exact place that I left them!
As much as I love my very mobile, very talkative, very inquisitive and very smart little men - today was one of those days that I was missing that - a lot.

Check out Twinfatuation to see what everyone else is looking back at.

Leaves, leaves, leaves!

I saw Barb's post about leaves on A Tale of Two Twinkies and it reminded me I had some great photos of the boys and Avery and Tessa playing in Gramma and Papa's backyard full of leaves!
This was about 2 weeks ago, it was a beautifully sunny fall day and perfect for jumping int the leaves. Which Quentin for sure did, he jumped so hard into the pile you could feel him hit the ground and he ended up with little bruises in his knees later. He takes his jumping seriously!

They all had so much fun. Avery was raking, Jack was throwing the leaves up in the air, Tessa was just trying to figure it all out, while (like I said before) Quent jumped and jumped! They loved burying Aunt Kyle, although Jack was very careful to make sure that she was uncovered. It was a fun day, running and playing outside!

Excited Avery

Happy Tessa
(there are literally very few times that this sweet girl is not this happy, she's just a very happy baby)

Squealing Jack

Rolling Quent

Who found Aunt Ky-Ky?

Get Papa with the leaves!!

Our best attempt at all 4 of them in the leaves

Look out Tessa, Quent is making a surprise for you

Boogie Patrol

Okay, my kids are freakin' hilarious!

We met my Mom for lunch today at Red Robin after a particularly tiring playtime at the mall playscape (Debi put the bug in my brain., thanks.)

So, we are done eating and the boys notice a baby girl sitting at the next table, maybe 6-8 months old. She is drinking a bottle, so we are talking about how Baby Tessa (their cousin) drinks milk from a bottle too, baby stuff, etc.

Quent decides as we are leaving that he wants to say hi to the baby. Now, we are telling him he can say hello, but not touch the baby. Both Quent and Jack go over and Quent starts talking in his high pitched "baby talk", what he does to babies and animals, you know that 'parentese' they talk about in all the parenting books - that's it.

All of a sudden, all the adults are laughing, and I didn't hear why.

Here's Why:

Quent had said, "OH, she has got a booger in her nose"

Of course he probably delivered it with the wrinkled nose, icky face. He was right. Her Dad said she did have a booger though, they didn't want her to scream in the restaurant so they just left it.

My boy speaks the truth.

Later, in the car, he could not stop talking about it and listening to it all Jack just says, quite matter of factly, "Ew, gross!"

Sometimes my face just hurts from laughing so hard.

Halloween Night

Here are the rest of our pictures from Halloween night Trick or Treating.
We were so happy to have Avery and Tessa here too (they were staying with Gramma and Papa while their Mom and Dad were at a wedding). So, Gramma and Papa brought them over here and Uncle Lenny and Aunt Ky-Ky came too. It was so much fun to see the kids all together, dressed up and cute as can be!

Avery had picked out flashlights for Jack, Quent, and herself. That was a great, fun gift for the boys, they love flashlights! So, they all had their lights on for trick or treating.

We went around our neighborhood and thanks to daylight savings being later, we got to do all their trick or treating while it was mostly light out. It was only 10-12 houses, but still.
AND it was so warm that the kids just wore their costumes over their clothes! No coats! It was great, perfect weather for little ones!

Anywhoo, here are some pics of our fun!
