What do we do when Daddy's away?

And its like crazy HOT outside?!

Well, we play in our new pool and splash the day away!!

And of course, we had to have popsicles.
(this was actually our 2nd trip out to the pool that day)

Or - as Jack calls them "pop-cycles"

And we count down the days until Daddy comes home!

Tom has been in Kansas for work since Sunday. We took him to the airport on Father's day morning (so our father's day celebration is waiting for him when he gets home on Saturday). And this week has been about keeping busy and trying not to miss Daddy too much.
We had so much going on, I am exhausted, but the boys and I have had a lot of fun. We got to spend time with GG, Alex, and Rayven at the park for lunch one day. We visited with Gramma and Papa a few different days. Then we spent one day splashing in the pool (obviously from pics above). Yesterday we spent the day at Castaway Cafe, a cool indoor playplace and met with some friends from our Mothers of multiples group.

Tomorrow we go get Tom from the airport and we can't wait for him to be home, we miss him so much!!

So, this post is finally done! (It only took me 3 days to get it done!)

Hey Hey Hey - look who's 3!!

Jack and Quent are 3 years old!!

Can you believe it?! I can hardly believe it.
Wasn't it just yesterday that I held those 2 little sweeties in my arms together?Or just not that long ago when they were still so little?
Did I blink, weren't they just my little toddlers?

Well, as of yesterday, June 7th, they are officially 3 - no longer my baby boys, but my big boys!
We celebrated the boys 3rd birthday yesterday with a family party here at home. They had requested dinosaur birthday cakes, so that's what Momma made sure they had. It was an exciting day for us all, but the boys were the most excited by far!
They got to play with lots of their cousins and lots of family all the while soaking up the nice weather outside. They got some really nice gifts, fun stuff that they will get to use this summer and college fund gifts (great!!).
Thanks to all our family that came to celebrate with us and for the cool gifts for the boys.

"Happy Birthday to Jackson..."

"Happy Birthday to Quentin..."

Here's a close up look at those dino cakes:

Last week, my Mom and I took the boys to a local park to get their pictures taken for their birthday. My friend, Melanie, a fellow twin Momma, took the pictures.
She did an awesome job as evidenced by the pics below!!
These are just the few that I chose, there were lots of cute ones to choose from.

Thanks so much Melanie - you did such a beautiful job capturing my sweet boys personalities! I just LOVE these pictures!!

And if anyone wants info on how to contact Melanie for her services, just ask and I will pass her info on to you!

ps - still working on potty training, I think we are making progress!

The big day is only 3 days away!

So Momma is....

cleaning and
baking and
planning and
cleaning and
remembering {sigh}
what those sweet little faces looked like
the day they were born,
and can hardly believe
they will be 3 years old...

Little Brother Lenny R.N.

CONGRATULATIONS LEN!

My baby brother, Len, graduated from nursing school on Friday night!
We are so proud of him!
He has a job in ICU at a local hospital he will be starting soon and is so excited about it, I think he will be so great at it and will love it. Above he is with his proud wife, Kyle (alias 'Aunt Ky-Ky') posing after the graduation ceremony.

Here's a look at the rest of his cheering section:

Here's Len with our Gramma

And with Mom and Dad

He's the original "Momma's boy" and she is too proud for words!

Kyle's dad, Joel and his girlfriend, George Ann, pose with the graduate

And here's me and my "little" brothers.
Can you believe that I used to whoop on them big time?!
Well, that was before they were big enough to tower over me!
(Rob has his eyes closed and Len is the one with the cap and gown on, just in case you didn't know who was who -tee hee)

All your hard work paid off Len and we are all celebrating in your wonderful success!
CONGRATULATIONS LEN!
